I believe that the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.
I believe all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of kinship, love and tolerance.
I don't believe in distinction of any kind, such as
- race, colour, ethnicity, nationality
- sex, gender identity
- sexual orientation
- language, culture
- religion, spirituality
- political opinion
- any opinion
- origin (social, national or any other kind)
- age
- weight, size
- looks, beauty or lack of it
- disability or illness, visible or invisible, of mind or body
- property, wealth
- birth
- other status or identity

"Obama's Matriarchal America..."

A couple of days ago, I found out about a German family who applied for AMNESTY in USA, because Germany doesn't allow homeschooling without a good reason. (That you want to be in control of indoctrinating your children is not a good reason.)
AND SOME IDIOT JUDGE GAVE IT TO THEM.

This family is not persecuted.

Getting fines for BREAKING THE LAW is fully normal and acceptable.
Getting other consequences FOR BREAKING THE LAW, as defined by the said law, which in this case means taking over the custody of the children, as the parents are, in fact, denying them their rights.

What they are trying to present as religious persecution is in fact being treated like everyone else in the country.
"In the last two decades the socialist governments in Europe are trying a different approach: While Christian worship on Sunday morning is kept legal, any practices for the rest of the week that are based on the convictions of Bible-believing Christians and the Biblical worldview are declared against the law. The laws in most European countries in essence are designed to extinguish any Christian practice while de jure allow Christian worship in designated places.

Prime examples of this, of course, are the laws in quite a few European countries against Christian homeschooling. Christian homeschooling, note that, because Muslim or any other form of homeschooling, or even unschooling is left alone. The situation with the legal persecution against Christian homeschooling families in Germany is all too well known to most American Christian families thanks to the decision of the Tennessee Judge Lawrence O. Burman to grant asylum to the Romeike family earlier this year for the violation of their rights to homeschool their children by the German government. Less known are the laws in other European countries like Sweden and France, where homeschooling is forbidden by law. In many places in Europe it is against the law to act as a Christian in your everyday life, and that includes also the economic and political life of the nation."
- Missionaries and the theology of resistance

That is not true. People are totally free to go to church at any day they so wish. Bible study groups and Christian communities have frequent meetings that are not disturbed or hindered in any way or manner. Churches have meeting rooms, day care, children's and teen's clubs and other activities during the week, and Germany has a full freedom of religion. Everyone is allowed to practice their religion as they wish AS LONG AS THEY FOLLOW THE LAW, which means that I can't see any problems with "living as a Christian". On the contrary.

It is very much easier to live a practical Christian life in Europe than any other sort of religious life.
The Jews, Muslims and Pagans are very much more persecuted and hindered to live their lives as their conscience demands, and in many cases even TRULY persecuted. Churches, Christian meeting spaces and cemeteries are very seldom if ever attacked and vandalized, whereas the Jewish, Moslem and Pagan such are constantly being disturbed. Especially the Jewish ones. It is so common, people don't even much react, just sigh and clean it up.

Germany has freedom of expression, press and right of assembly. There are laws against hate speech that are stricter than in USA, but I can't imagine any Christian publication being censored. Now, of course, if it is hate speech disguised as Christianity, that's a different issue, but I HOPE  any Christian would consider hate speech very un-Christian, and would not protest the limitation of such. Christian publications are not censored, and the writers may freely express their disliking of such subjects like New Age or Islam or Atheism.

"“Because Germany banned individual liberty for everyone, it’s okay. . . . [So by extension] it’s okay to repress everyone’s freedom of religion, which is to say it would be okay to repress everyone’s freedom of speech, to repress everyone’s freedom of parents. All those things are implicated in the right to educate.”"
- Michael Farris, founding chairman of HSLDA
They haven't banned individual liberty from anyone. There is no such thing as "freedom of parents" or "[parents'] fundamental right to decide how [they] want to teach [their] children". Naturally, parents have rights and responsibilities, but the state's responsibilities for the children outweigh the parent's rights. I know this is hard for some people to accept, practically impossible, but this is the reality and the way it is.
I do hope no-one has any objections to when this illusional "parent's right" is being surpassed because the parents let the children starve, abuse them, molest them - but to the state all the parents are equal. It doesn't matter if all your friends think you are a perfect parent, it doesn't matter if your Holy Book or God says you are doing right, the state MUST interfere if you are denying your child any of the "Children's Rights".
(Now... USA has not ratified the Convention of the Rights of Children... why is that? Could it possibly be because you believe the parents have more rights than the children, and children in fact BELONG to their parents? You're wrong, you know. And one day your children will know it, too...)

Now, home-schooling has been illegal in Germany since 1918. Any form of homeschooling. Muslims are not allowed to homeschool either, nor any other group of people. Homeschool is illegal. Period.

Christians are not singled out in some war against Christianity. I don't even know where the idea of that "it is against the law to act as a Christian in your everyday life" comes from. (Perhaps the reason is that the author is Hungarian, and as Hungary was Communist, Christianity WAS forbidden. I can only assume he is referring to that reality, which is the COMMUNIST reality, NOT EUROPEAN.)

No, these people are not persecuted. They are trying to demand "rights" that are against the law of the country they live in, and when this request is denied - naturally - IT IS AGAINST THE LAW - they start whining about being persecuted and requesting asylum!

THESE PEOPLE REFUSE TO FOLLOW THE LAW!

I don't understand which part of this is so difficult for the thousands of idiots, defending this family, to understand. I'm pretty sure most of them would scream against "illegal immigrants", who, of course, are all Mexican, or thereabout. Hello! THIS FAMILY IS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS! They were requesting asylum for wrong reasons, and they were granted the asylum by wrong reasons, they are in USA ILLEGALLY.

The worst thing with this is that because some idiot (that would be HSLDA attorney Mike Donnelly) told them to request asylum, they probably are no longer welcome as ORDINARY IMMIGRANTS to USA.
They should have requested a visa and green card to move to USA. They should have immigrated to USA legally. All their thousands of homeschooling, Christian, USonian friends should have guaranteed them work and housing, so that the government would have had no problems what so ever to welcome this German family to USA, and then in couple of years, they could have applied for citizenship.
But NOW they are criminals. Violating BOTH the German law AND the USonian law.

Homeschooling is not illegal in USA, but immigrating under false premises is.

That the US law is different from German law is totally irrelevant. This family is German and subjects to the German law, not the US law, even though they at the moment reside in USA. (Illegally, I might add.)

That a person can get an adequate education at home, and these parents were not denying their children education, is 100% irrelevant.  Homeschooling is still illegal in Germany.

Homeschooling is NOT a human right, education is, and Germany gives an adequate education to all German children in public schools.
I think I should add that there are Christian public schools in Germany too, if the regular curriculum doesn't agree with your preferences and values.

Also, nothing stops you from providing ADDITIONAL education at home to your children.
Nothing stops you from requesting special license to skip the sexual education (which is really only a couple of hours, if even that, of the whole 10 years of public school.). I haven't heard that anyone had had any problems with this.
Nothing stops you from reviewing the material, and going through it with your children and explaining to them how it differs from what you believe, and teach your children those things as you believe them.
You can request that your children are not to read certain books; that they are allowed to choose something else they read.
You do have quite a lot of control about how and what your child is being taught, even when you don't homeschool.
So, no, this German family - or others like this one - has no case. They are just being obstinate, for no good reason.

Especially remembering what the Bible says about this issue...
Romans 13:1-5

"Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
"

Titus 3:1
"Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work"

1 Peter 2:13-17

"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king."
It doesn't matter what their personal preferences are. It doesn't matter if the law somewhere else is different. It doesn't matter they would like it to be differently. Homeschooling is illegal in Germany, that is the law, and it is to be respected.
"The German Supreme Court has ruled that it wants to 'counteract the development of religious and philosophically motivated parallel societies,' Farris explained. 'And that's a direct quote.'"

Yes? Of course you find it horrible, because you are thinking that they are targeting Christians. What they are targeting is actually groups like Nazis and Nation of Islam. "Parallel society" is underground movement, terrorists, saboteurs, revolutionaries, people who refuse to follow the law of the country. Does that sound like Christians to you?
What was it the Bible said about respecting the laws of the people one lives among?
Are you really trying to tell me you SUPPORT insubordination? And not only SUPPORT, YOU ENCOURAGE IT!

If Germany was demanding the Christians to denounce Jesus and worship Asir or bring sacrifice to the World Tree, then I would understand why you would protest.
If Germany demanding abortion and forced the children to have sex in school, I would understand.
This I do not understand.

Another thing I noticed in several of these sites trying to talk for this family staying in USA is that this public education law was created by Nazi government so that children could be easier brainwashed.
This law of general and equal public education was signed 1918. Germany was not Nazi 1918. The National socialistic party didn't even exist at that time!

The thing, that is more important here, is that to refer to the Nazi Germany is "playing the Nazi card". It is bad argumentation, fallacious logic AND A PERSONAL ATTACK.
And what does the Bible say about that?

Romans 1:29-30

"Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters
, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents"

Proverbs 6:16-19

These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Nevertheless, it is 100% irrelevant why, when and by whom this law was signed, it is still the law and if you refuse to follow the law, you are a criminal.

Read this too.
Why HSLDA is Wrong about Romeike v. Holder
"But the case goes far deeper than the right of asylum. Homeschooling is providing an increasingly viable alternative as the ranks of adults with college education increases, the quality of public schools drops or stagnates, and the refusal of government schools to offer any sort of values education. The number of homeschooled students has risen from 1.5 million in 2007 to over 2 million in 2012 and is growing ever more rapidly"
- Dick Morris

Irrelevant.
It doesn't matter at all, that less than 2% of USonian children are being homeschooled, and the USonian public schools are not very good. It has nothing to do with the education in Germany, nor the FACT THAT HOMESCHOOLING IS ILLEGAL IN GERMANY.
You decide about the laws IN YOUR OWN COUNTRY, and let the other countries decide over their business.
Considering that Germany has better schools than USA, and more effective education. USA really has very little to say about how we deal with education here in Europe. Perhaps to countries like Greece or Slovenia, but we North Europeans are a lot better than you are in this.
(And, yes, one reason for that is an equal and general education. I bet your homeschooled kids do well in Bible knowledge, but if they know as much as the adults do, I have to say that it's not much. I, a Pagan, know the Bible better than any of the Christians I have discussed.)

US 17th In Global Education Ranking; Finland, South Korea Claim Top Spots

And isn't there some idiot blaming Obama and feminism for this!

"Education is at the bottom in Obama's Matriarchal America. The usa spends lots of money on vocational training. Also many americans view education simply as a means to a "better job". There is little interest in engaging education to help further humanity or to cultivate critical thinking and analysis. in addition, many people are bragging about the 'female boom' in college attendance and graduation. Though at the expense of males who are deliberately being passed over by university admissions offices. I find it ironic that with the increase of female college graduates. The standards continue to fall and the usa's ranking plummets as well. So interesting. I wonder what kind of society these people believe will come from a population in which the females are 'educated', yet the males are not. Seems like the making of civil war and perhaps even a real gender war. Such interesting times we live in indeed."

THIS WAS VOTED AS "BEST" OF THE OTHER USERS!

Darling... I think you have been tricked...

There are some... hmm... women. They think they are "crazy bitches",

"A woman who is free thinking, true to herself, self-assured, self-preserving, passionate, independent, confident and successful. She works hard for what she gains and knows what she wants in her life. She stands up for herself and those she loves. She faces life’s challenges with a smile and will speak her mind even if it’s a disagreement with the majority. She is self-achieving and often sacrifices in order to give to others. Do not be fooled though, she will not tolerate foolishness and is not easily intimidated. She knows how to have fun but can kick ass when needed. She is clever and knows to keep her friends close but her enemies closer. She can easily bring the best out in anyone and her excitement for living life is contagious. A Crazy Bitch can laugh at herself and loves to motivate others to see the best in all situations. Most Crazy Bitches are members of the Crazy Bitch Society and have learned to OWN IT because there is a little bit of Crazy Bitch in all of us ladies."

They join a board at Pinterest called "Crazy Bitch Society". Fully believing they are these "crazy bitches".

Of course I cannot say anything about the women's intelligence, self-worth or other such things. But I know what I think.

I wouldn't want my father to see me posing in a photo like most on that board.
Frankly, I would think any man sick who proudly shows a photo of his daughter posing like most of the women on that board.
I wouldn't want my husband to know someone saw that much of me taking the photos... and not only that someone, but all the photo assistants and other personnel around. And everyone on the internet.
I wouldn't want my children to see photos like this of me.
I most certainly don't ever want to see my daughter in photos like that.

It's not that I'm prude. I have nothing against third page and glamour models, or porn industry. I have a lot against trafficking and forcing people to prostitution and the rape culture that has developed, and all the exploitation and hurting people going on. But if the woman (or a man) is in it of her (his) free will, and enjoys showing herself and having sex, go ahead.

But the truth is thatI don't think the 18-years-olds, who pose for page 3, playboy and other men's magazines, or women who do their best to look like an 18-years-old, has much confidence and self-esteem. I do believe they think they have no other value than their "beauty" or how "sexy" they are.
What is more is that I believe girls who see these kind of images, believe they have no other value than their beauty and sexiness. And that you can only be beautiful and sexy, if you are young, fit and skinny, and wear very little clothes and behave like a...

Are you really self-confident, when you wax yourself, because you believe your body hair is disgusting? I would admire more a woman who doesn't wax nor shave, but proudly and defiantly presents her naturally hairy legs to the world.

And why does this so-called "bad girl" even have a vibrator? If she really likes sex and men as much as she claims, and if she really is as hot and attractive as she pretends, what does she do with it?
("It can be fun with sex games with your man."
"Oh, I thought you have a threesome, or foursome or fiftysome, to add spices to your sex life. Not a vibrator. But what do I know. I'm not a "bad girl" like that. I don't wax and I wear underwear, because I don't have fake boobs that don't need a bra. Oh, and I prefer missionary position. For several reasons, stated so well by Joan Collins...)

Also, a woman who has sex in the office...? Fired.
A woman who goes to parties to have sex? Not invited again.
A woman who thinks "romance" means sex? Poor girl.
A woman who thinks men don't get tired with such a woman? Oh, dear...

Why is this so hard to believe?

I don't think people have a very good opinion of these women. I'm pretty sure most people would think these women are stupid, talentless and "easy". I wouldn't be surprised if the words "whore" and "slut" visited their minds, if not mouths.

I don't believe this either.
Unless you think being a "damn good woman" means good in bed.
Which I believe you'd LIKE to believe.
When all it takes for a woman to be good in bed
is to be in bed with someone who loves you and enjoying yourself.
And you think "romance" = sex and you don't make love, you fuck, so
finding someone who wants to go to bed with you because they love you...
good luck with that.

I have a hard time reminding myself of the fact that these women are people, not just dolls.
People like Betty Page and Dita von Teese are something different, but most of these women...

Then they have this in the middle of all that...

how many of those women smile? And did you even look much their faces before I asked?
It's like... "what dinosaur?" (A pretty girl wearing "ask me about my dinosaur" t-shirt, pulls it over her head, and all one notices are her beautiful chest in a pretty bra...)

Abuse is an act of love?

I used to be a member of a group designed to help people keep their homes tidy.
I was a bit upset about the rules earlier, but tackled along, as I really need help with cleaning my home. I thought it was a sisterhood, a group of equally messy artistic women, when in reality it's a company fan club, with half of the "encouraging messages" being advertisement of the company's products, and the rest advertisement of the company's method.

This was the last drop though:

"This is a true story of how bad things can actually be: I've just gotten home from my mother's house, after a weekend of grueling work. Please forgive me for being a little long-winded. This can perhaps serve as a warning about what happens, if you don't heed your guidelines, and complete your missions, and do your own "homework"!"

Yes, heed your guidelines, otherwise your kids will violate you.

The mother of the writer, 78 years old, apparently had gone out to walk the dogs in the middle of the night. (Why? Beats me.) She fell on the steps and broke her leg "in 5 places". Her son living in the house didn't hear her screams, and she lay on the ground almost an hour before the neighbor came home from work and alarmed the brother, who called the ambulance.

Now, the loving daughter continues: "Only God knows, how fortunate we were that the accident happened outside.. if indoors, social services would've been called, the house would have been condemned, and my Mother would probably be placed in a nursing home."

The mother is "safely out of the way", in rehab, so her children rush to the house and "clean" it.

The house is large, "her bedroom the size of a large double carport", "We cleaned the kitchen, family room, hallway, the front porch, and back entrance. Scanned the Living Room, and two guest bedrooms. My brother that lives with her has a decent sized bedroom..."

She tells us that her mother loves to rummage yard sales, second-hand shops and goodwill stores. She tells us that they threw away tons of stuff from her mother's house, "items with holes, stains, years-outdated food and just plain ugly junk" "...we put it all in garbage bags and hauled to the dump. I'm normally a big believer in giving to a charity, anything usable! We didn't have the time, or stomach to separate anything."

She continues: "We haven't told our Mother the extent of what we've done, as she needs to concentrate on getting well enough to come home. We're not delusional enough to believe that this will cure the problem, but the story we're sticking to is this: "We love our Mother too much allow her to live like this any longer"! We're all prepared for the anger, and heartache she'll go through when she comes home. She knows we're cleaning up, just not how much."

She asks for prayers to make her mother "happy", so that she will stop buying the "ugly" things and start investing in having "a charming, lovely, comfortable home that she deserves".

She ends her letter with a promise of all the children returning to the mother's house "to finish the house, remove the carpet, re-do the hardwood floors, build a wheelchair ramp, and tackle some unfinished projects".

This is supposed to be a wake-up call, to get people shaken awake to realize that it really is "that bad". She says she has been a member of the cleaning cult for years, and wants to save her only child from living through this horror story...

The "cult leader" responses to the letter:

"OH MY! My heart goes out to you!
Your mother is probably never going to forgive you! But you can live with that! No one should live in a trash heap. Her health depends on having a clean place to recover.
I am so proud of you and your family for jumping in to help her; even though she would never have allowed you to if she had been home.
Normally I would never tell you to declutter another person's stuff. This was an emergency. After her rehab stay her home would have been check by the social workers to see if she was going to be able to function in her own home. They would have found that she was living in a fire hazard and unsanitary conditions."
She ends the note by asking the cult members to "take babysteps and spend 15 minutes a day decluttering"...

It's her house, so the social service has nothing to do with it being "a fire hazard and unsanitary conditions". They may not move her anywhere against her will, as she is still sound enough to take the dog out in the middle of the night.

I don't think encroaching an adult woman's life and throwing away her things YOU think are not necessary is an act of love. On the contrary. My brother and sister "cleaned" my room when I was 12, and threw away a lot of broken toys and papers, because "it's garbage". It wasn't garbage. I still miss half of the stuff, and it was almost 30 years ago. It's your MOTHER for crying out loud, not some witless child that has to be saved from herself. You act like inquisition, burning everything that doesn't fit your idea of proper and nice.

People have to choose for themselves to declutter their lives. People have to be ready for it, and up to it, otherwise it doesn't change anything. She will fill up the house in a year and next time she won't let any of you in, because you entered her home while she wasn't there to protect her property, and you destroyed her property - which is what it was, whether you appreciate it or not.

You should learn to accept your mother as she is, and not be grateful for her lying outside in cold january night with broken leg, because YOU are ashamed of her and her way of life.

I think this story is a horrible show of disrespect, insult and violation of another human being's rights disguised as "love" and "caring". Of course these kids will live with their mother not forgiving them this abuse, her feelings don't mean anything to them.

A truly loving and caring children would have taken more time off and gone through the house WITH the owner of the things, not acted like thieves in the night and hurry to get all the things thrown out in secret so that the owner of them couldn't interfere.

A truly loving and caring children would have helped the mother BEFORE this happened. Perhaps spent a couple of weekends in the year doing this TOGETHER WITH the mother? Perhaps taking it in baby steps?

"But the story we're sticking to is this: "We love our Mother too much allow her to live like this any longer"!"

Indeed... this is the STORY. The truth is that the children think about their heritage. After all, mommy is almost 80, she won't live many more years.

Really disgusting.

About gun control

There was a discussion in Facebook.
Yeah... reason enough to just ignore the damned thing :-D
But - I said something, got a response, and... well... I have some time over, and I believe I have something to say, and because I unfriended the person whose profile the discussion is on, I can't respond there. So I respond here.

It started with a Mother Jones article: "was Hitler really a fan of gun control?"

My response was:

"Argumentum ad Hitlerum... :->
I find it interesting how before the election a lot of Republicans were crying about how ALL their rights HAVE BEEN stripped away from them... now, if the guns couldn't stop the government from "stripping away" those right
s (interestingly none of them could name any of those), what do you do with your gun? They are not going to feed or educate your children, guns are not going to give you a roof over your head... at least not for long Guns can't really even protect your life and property. Enough people have been both killed and robbed even though they had guns."

I received a response:

"You are full of BS. My rifle does fill my freezer with meat so it Does feed my family. My shotgun Did protect my family from a home invasion. Your bullshit is just that.... bullshit. If you don't like guns don't buy one. Your opinions only demonstrate abject ignorance."

To which I respond:

"Firstly, everyone is full of shit, even you.

Secondly, just because you are a deviation from what I said doesn't make what I say untrue. What I said goes for the majority, and even though you hunt and have "protected your family from a home invasion", most people yapping against gun control have never in their lives needed to use a gun for anything.
Gun control doesn't mean "no-one may have a gun", but the gun ownership is restricted to those who have a real reason to use it, like hunters and police officers.

Thirdly, "abject"? Word of the day? >:-> Compared to the level of the rest of your writing, the last sentence is obviously copied from someone else :-D

Nothing you have said gives me any reason to believe my statement is based on ignorance, on the contrary. You don't even confront all parts of my statement you call bullshit, and what you confront is not really making my statement untrue.
Yes, you can hunt, and butcher animals by shooting them, but people don't live of meat alone. Just try it. Eat only things you have got with your gun. Don't drink water. Don't drink coffee. Don't eat vegetables, potatoes, rice, pasta. Don't eat gravy. Don't eat bread and butter. Don't eat eggs. You see... a lot of food people eat is not meat.
Your children don't get educated by guns.
The gun didn't give you the roof over your head, unless you forced someone to give their house to you - or allow you into their house - under gunpoint, which is what I'm talking about when I say "at least not for long".
People have been killed and robbed even though they had guns, so guns don't even really protect your life and property. Yes, I admit, there have been times when a gun has protected your life and property, but there are more times when it hasn't... and, frankly... home invasion? In what kind of civilized society you even need to be afraid of home invaders? Burglars, sure, but those usually come to your home when you are not there to protect it, so your gun is useless. If they don't care whether you are at home or not, they probably have guns of their own, and in a gunfight lives are usually lost... so protecting your property you might lose your life - or the life of someone else, your child, your spouse... and is your property really worth that? No. Women carrying guns have been raped. Children carrying guns often end up hurting someone, themselves, their friends, other kids - and often enough it ends by someone dying. "Often enough" is one time. But you probably don't think one child is important. Because so many children have been saved with guns... er... do you have an example? Do you have as many examples of lives being saved as I have of lives being lost? I doubt that. But - sure, I give you the benefit of the doubt, go ahead.

Frankly, there's reason to believe that that "home invasion" was pure imagination of yours, you just believed they were trying to invade your home, if they even existed.
That story is just more reason to advocate gun control. You are so scared of the imagined threats you believe you need your gun for, you can't even think straight.

People like that try to solve any problem with violence, and couldn't use their intellect to solve it, even if they tried.
Internet must be a hellish place, when you can't shoot your way clear from people who are different from you. >:-> Just look at your response to me. "You are full of bullshit!" You repeat "bullshit" three times. And then you try to use some fancy language to impress everyone of how cultured you actually are, because heaven forbid someone would think you are not intelligent and well-educated, as if that mattered :-D

People like that would shoot first and investigate later - if at all - because you are scared witless. I'm just waiting for the "just see for how long you would survive without a gun!" argument. :-D I have survived over 40 years without a gun, my dear. Because I live in a society where people are taught to use their intellect to solve problems, where people are taught to appreciate differences and respect each other, and not believe "might is right" - that is, "if you can take it, it's rightfully yours". If someone can invade your home, it's rightfully theirs, and therefore it's your right to protect your home by shooting - or threatening to shoot - with intention to end another human being's life. You believe your property is more important than another human being's life, and you call ME ignorant :-D

"A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet", they say. It means that that "home invader" might be someone who could be a great friend to you, and help you with your daily life... Making him an enemy robs YOU from all the possible benefits of knowing him/her.
It's that survival crap all over again. "They are coming to take MY food, and they WILL KILL ME to get it!" in stead of thinking that a community TOGETHER would be stronger and better equipped to feed the whole community. Someone like me is pretty useless when it comes to killing people, but I can sew, bake, cook, take care of animals and garden, I know how to use herbal medicine, I can assist with minor injuries and first aid, and I can sing and tell stories; replace the television... I am very useful in a catastrophe that throws us back to stone age. But to you I would be just another mouth to feed, another parasite that wants what's yours. You are such an idiot. :-D

So - go ahead and cover in your spider hole you call your home with your family, cover in fear and trust in your gun. Hopefully someone manages to end your suffering before you get too old, blind and feeble to handle a gun :-D
