I believe that the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.
I believe all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of kinship, love and tolerance.
I don't believe in distinction of any kind, such as
- race, colour, ethnicity, nationality
- sex, gender identity
- sexual orientation
- language, culture
- religion, spirituality
- political opinion
- any opinion
- origin (social, national or any other kind)
- age
- weight, size
- looks, beauty or lack of it
- disability or illness, visible or invisible, of mind or body
- property, wealth
- birth
- other status or identity

Price of lies

The truth is that sending all those people to Iraq to kill and die did nothing for any USonian's freedom - except for the POWs and MIAs... I can understand that you have to explain and justify and excuse somehow the fact that your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, sister, brother, father, mother, friend etc. was killed by your government, with your approval, permission, encouragement, perhaps even request... The truth is too hard to even think...

Disturbing Pinterest II

These two images were pinned by the same woman... first one is supposed to be "so sexy". I mean... how... Women are still getting mad with their boyfriends because they can't "read their minds" - they should have known better, they should have known she doesn't like this or that, they should know what to do in every situation... women are still darn codependent and expect him to KNOW IF they REALLY love... yet - objectifying women (there's a damn lot of nudity and prn in Pinterest pinned as "romantic", "hot" and "sexy") (and men) and depicting them in a situation that to me reads as more or less forced and violent is "OK"... How are men supposed to know that women mean it when they say "no is no"?

BTW; I agree 100% with the second picture, what ever I think about Slut walks.

Something about this disturbs me...

I love Pinterest. I look at, well... everything. A mother had pinned a lot of things to the idea board for her sons... among them these... I find it... very disturbing. There were also lego taxidermy set and Star Wars Empire wallpaper... Umph.
