The bird feeder

 

I bought a bird feeder. I hung it on my back porch and filled it with seed.
What a beauty of a bird feeder it was, as I filled it lovingly with seed.
Within a week we had hundreds of birds taking advantage of the continuous flow of free and easily accessible food.

But then the birds started building nests in the boards of the patio, above the table, and next to the barbecue.  

Then came the shit. It was everywhere: on the patio tile, the chairs, the table ... everywhere!

Then some of the birds turned mean. They would dive bomb me and try to peck me even though I had fed them out of my own pocket.

And others birds were boisterous and loud. They sat on the feeder and squawked and screamed at all hours of the day and night and demanded that I fill it when it got low on food.

After a while, I couldn't even sit on my own back porch anymore.
So I took down the bird feeder and in three days the birds were gone.
I cleaned up their mess and took down the many nests they had built all over the patio.
Soon, the back yard was like it used to be ..... quiet, serene.... and no one demanding their rights to a free meal. 

Now let's see.....

Our government gives out free food, subsidized housing, free medical care and free education, and allows anyone born here to be an automatic citizen. 

Then the illegals came by the tens of thousands. 

Suddenly our taxes went up to pay for free services; small apartments are housing 5 families; you have to wait 6 hours to be seen by an emergency room doctor; Your child's second grade class is behind other schools because over half the class doesn't speak English. Corn Flakes now come in a bilingual box; I have to 'press one ' to hear my bank talk to me in English, and people waving flags other than ”ours” are squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. 

Just my opinion, but maybe it's time for the government to take down the bird feeder.  

If you agree, pass it on; if not, just continue cleaning up the shit!

Let's talk about bird feeders.

A lot of people have bird feeders, with no problems. So... what made YOU have these special problems?

Birds don't build nests on areas where people walk all the time. If you didn't use the porch, patio, table and barbecue, what's the problem with the birds using them? If you did, you are lying about the nests.
One problem solved with fact checking.

Birds crap. Everyone who feeds birds know there will be a lot of spillage and guano around the bird feeder. That's the nature of birds. So if someone puts a bird feeder on their back porch, they are idiots. Because if they have a back porch, they also have a back yard, and just one yard from the back porch will keep the bird crap out of the back porch. One problem solved with just a LITTLE common sense and planning before jumping into action.

There are no instances of birds attacking their feeder. So you are lying again.
Another problem solved with fact checking.

Another lie. Most birds are totally silent when it's dark. Some birds sing during the dusk and dawn. Most birds only make noise during the mating season. The birds who feed on bird feeders don't "sit on the feeder and squawk and scream". They fly in, eat, fly out. Some might argue with each other, like tits and sparrows, but most of the time a bird feeder is pretty silent. 

Fact checking solved this problem as well.

Let's see how much of the other part of your story can be solved with fact checking?

Yes, that is what governments do. They don't do it to everyone, though. To be eligible to get the "free food, subsidized housing, free medical care and free education", there are conditions. Illegal aliens aren't eligible to any of this stuff.

 I seriously don't see the problem with this. Unauthorized immigrants cannot get citizenship through their child who is a natural born citizen, because they don't meet the eligibility requirements, and the child born in USA, grown up in USA, never have been living anywhere but USA, should of course be considered as USonian as all the other people who were born in USA, grown up in USA and never been living anywhere else but USA.

Sounds like a lemmel invasion. 

Looks like it, as well. Definitely more people than in Million MAGA March. And this is maybe 4000 people?

So, what the truth behind this picture? 

This is from the Southern border of Mexico, 2018. 

USA got so scared seeing this picture, the President started a tweeting campaign, called people names, threatened to make the situation in Central America even harder than it was, and then USA send 5000 soldiers to guard the border.

Most of them, if any, didn't reach USA. 

Mexico offered people asylum, work permits, temporary ISDs, medical attention, housing and schooling in exchange of them following Mexican laws and staying in South.

About 1/4 continued to US border and then waited to enter USA totally legally, through the proper procedings.

11 of them tried to sneak into USA.

There was no invasion, or mass immigration. 

The caravan is not immigration; it’s an invasion

It's not illegal immigration, just because you think the system stinks.

These people tried to come to USA in search of a better life, fully intending to do right for themselves. They intend to do it legally and fairly, and not to cheat the system of the country that they are so desperate to live in. Those who came were vetted and asked a series of questions, and given entrance or turned away, if their answers weren't satisfactory. They are happy to be in USA and brought determination and positive aspects of their culture with them, and they are prepared to assimilate into US culture and values, not because "they understood they were no long just an Italian", but because they have sacrificed a lot to rescue their lives and the lives of their children from intolerable situation they had gotten caught into without any possibility to change anything, and they are grateful, and also because they believe the great lie about American Dream, and believe that if they just work hard and follow the laws and customs, they could make something of themselves. Which has always been the thing with immigrants. Not one of them forgets that they are Italian, Chinese, Irish, German, Honduran, Guatemalan, Salvadorean - Not one of them thinks they aren't proud American if they receive the citizenship. It's the other "proud Americans" who thinks they aren't.

Stay and face the possibility of being turned down. Which is what most refugees do. 92% of asylum seekers attended their court hearings. Because if you run off, you make sure you will be denied, and you limit your possibilities to make yourself a life in USA, because you will never get a legal ID, legal job, be able to legally own property, or receive any of the government hand-downs, and also you risk being caught and send back to where you came from, without a possibility to ever come back, and what's the point in living in USA then?

Mollie Tibbets' family has asked people not to use her murder for political purposes.
Was Cristhian Rivera an immigrant? As far as I know, he was a Mexican migrant worker. But let's call him "illegal immigrant". Who hired him? Who gave a job to this "illegal immigrant"? A Republican. And when asked about why he employed a person with no legal paperwork, they lied. Hmm...

They are given jobs by Republican employers, who pays them black, so who is it who pushes down wages? The Republican employers.

People aren't cookies. I would have no problems what so ever to throw away batches of cookies. Cookies are insignificant. People are not.
A better comparison would be to say you are dying of hunger and you are told that there is a couple of bad beans in the chili, a couple of people have died having eaten it, but most are OK. Would you still eat it? I would.
The same way I would assume that the venting system works well enough, most of the people involved are decent, good people who do their job well, and most of the immigrants are hard-working, good people who just want to give their children a better chance in life than they themselves got.
Now... why won't you? Would you run and make a lawless of yourself, because you just want to get rich and get hand-downs and commit crimes?

Who your neighbor is has absolutely NOTHING to do with your way of life, and you shouldn't have anything to do with theirs.
What comes to culture... I assume you are a WASP. White English-speaking and identify yourself as Christian. So take away EVERYTHING from your culture that is NOT brought from West Europe. I will be kind and allow the French, German and Scandinavian influences. But no South European, not Middle Eastern, no African, Asian or South American. Which means that say goodbye to corn, tomatoes, peppers and potatoes. Bye bye to Tex-Mex. No pizza, pasta or Chinese takeaways. Come on, food is the most obvious cultural expression, and if you are against cultural exchange, be honest about it. Doesn't matter that it was done in your home when you were growing up. It's still Latin culture.

To believe that the descendants of "legal immigrants" in USA are the children of "the best" is so conceited that it's hilarious. :-D

Did they? The taxes went up during WWII. And have been coming down steadily ever since. When Obama was the President, the tax rate was lower than since Jimmy Carter. So... when do you suppose this "sudden tax rate rise" happened?

That's how it is in every country. It has nothing to do with immigrants, legal or not. When I have been at an emergency room (3 times in my life, the last 50 years, in 2 different countries), it has always been full, and of the normal citizens of the town. Here you have to have an ID to be able to come in, and you get an ID only if you can prove you are who you say you are. So no undocumented immigrants there.

Has this actually happened anywhere? I haven't found any news articles, opinion pieces, blog entries, or any other complaints.

So... you don't now know it's corn flakes, because it doesn't only say it's corn flakes but also copos de maiz, and you don't have the slightest idea what that is? Or what? What could possibly be a problem with food items with information in several languages?
And, guess what? I haven't found any images of Corn Flakes in a bilingual box. Maybe you could post a photo of this offensive item?

Ok... again... where? Who? Which flags? These are the only "other than "ours"" flags I've seen people wavign, while they were squawking and screaming in the streets, demanding more rights and free liberties. For some reason I don't think you are referring to them.

What about these people "demanding more rights and free liberties"?

- BLM demands freedom to not be harassed and killed due to the color of their skin and/or ethnicity
In my mind that's obvious they should have that, and it's outrageous that they feel they don't have it already. They aren't demanding more rights than you have, they are demanding the same rights that you take for granted. 

- Slut walks demand the end of the rape culture, that says "boys will be boys", and that one cannot expect a male of the human species could control his behavior and commit crimes, while the females of the human species are responsible for the males' behavior and crimes. Demanding the exact same rights and privileges and liberties for males and females.

- Covid rallies. Demanded... the privilege to go to a hairdresser and risk the hairdresser's life? The right to not wear a mask and spread Covid everywhere? The right to risk other people's live because one believes facts and news are lies? The right to ignore what's happening everywhere on this planet, to be able to believe the lies? Now, that IS demanding more rights to oneself than anyone else has, and "liberties". People claiming their "constitutional rights" are being violated, because they are expected to do what everyone else is doing, and take common responsibility trying to limit the spreading of the virus? And even though more Republicans than Democrats and Independents are sick, you STILL don't understand it!

AND NOT ONE OF THESE IS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS DEMANDING HAND-DOWNS.
